Content Management!

I've come to a silly conclusion. Everywhere I work, help, or linger around I notice things. Things that can be organized better. Things that can be communicated better. Things that can be logged better. Right now it seems like our world is catching up to technology. It looks like it's going to be a long painful process but it's happening. Everything is being made smarter, faster, and all around more efficient. I think it's all simply based around the orginization of information. The speed at which we evolve is based on our ability to organize information now.

the most obvious answer (to me) is. History repeats itself. We are SUPPOSED to learn from our mistakes. If a computer is sitting there analyzing what was done in the past and what is being done now it can on a larger scale produce a more vaible future. EVERY place of business I spend any time at could be made more profitable with a better information orginization system. Using information that computers can log and analyze can ALWAYS boost performance.

Wether it be in a science lab or a diner on the corner, I believe we should be working with technology to log daily activities in order to better the process the next time around. I just wonder how long it will take to evolve from the old method of 'remembering what worked' to the new method of 'double checking your actions against the computers suggested actions'. heh.

Even with our daily life. If we were born into using a CMS for our life I believe from childhood we would be 100 million times more productive. If life was tought more on a scale of “plan & execute” we would be more effective. If as a child we could organize our goals and systematicly accomplish them… things would change drasticly.

I guess this post is kindof pointless. I was just mulling over building a CMS for a few stores that need it.. open source, free of charge. and kindof got carried away with how everything could be organized better. But were humans, not robots. Were built to live for happiness and whatever makes us “feel” good. Not what evolves us faster. So in the mean time I'll just start trying to standardize the content management systems I make in hopes that they will someday slide into one big cms in efforts to better the human kind… heh.

Cheers.
