*TAKES A DEEEEP BREATH*

I'm ALIVE!… I'm ALIVE!… I'm ALIVE!….

I've been dead almost all of january so far. I started it off with catching the flu late december closely chased by a cold. The flu tore me up real bad for a couple days leaving me sleepless n' hungry cuz I couldn't eat or sleep. The cold however zapped me of every last bit of energy I had so I doped myself to the gills with all the medicine I could gather n' basicly passed out for the last week.

Now that I'm just about 100% over my cold (first day at work in a week or so) and I've got my new skateboard all lined up. I FINALY got to go out n's kate a bit. ontop of being sick the weather has been total crap lately. Things just havn't realy gone my way. Today however things are turning around. I feel good, skated on my new ride a bit, and will get back to fixin PC's at the shop. very cool.

Latest gizmoz - Co-worker asked me to program em up something so he could log serial numbers on AccuVote Optical Scan systems & Touch Screen systems and cross refrence ones he finds to the county they belong to n' vice versa. I immediately jumped on my little bsd server n' started coding up a little web app to take care of the problem before I realized. He's got a palm. hehe. Palms are data organizing FEENDS. I can't personaly develop for em yet but I'd love to so I just went out n' got some spreadsheet software for em. I'm trying to find something slick that works with access or something along those lines. I've got em lined up with some open source software thats doing the trick with a coinciding desktop interface. Very slick.

Along those same lines another co-worker asked me to whip up some software so she could log all the sign orders she got frmo the internet (basicly emails from county clerks and such) so she could delete her emails and stuff but still have a nice log. *dun dun dun* good thing I've been playing with spreadsheet/DB software I guess. The backbone of america. Data orginization. I'm going to get her lined up with software that will work intermittenly with the Accuvote logging software… Basicly just keep em tied together in one package but working entirely seperate. (making backups just as ez as individuals working on it.. I like centralizing data) anywho. This little project is taking no time rounding up. I think im getting even lamer n' just gunna tear her up a little sumthin sumthin in MS Access n' get the other guy some new palm software to work with access as well. I cringe at the idea but it'd tie it all together into one nice centralized package. Damn I wish I could develop for the palm. I just looked at their software developer package n' cringed at the level of knowledge in C/C++ required to even start thinking about such a task. *sigh* Education. it's a bitch.

I'm open for suggestions on this project =))
