Still lovin the new style…
I've been out riding for a short time everyday rain or shine lately. I'm loving every minute of it. I dare say every minute on the bike feels more “free” than the hours not spent on the bike. I'm amazed with how overly happy I am with it which is kindof crazy becuase I went through quite the long moral dilema of deciding to buy it or not. I always told myself I would if I had the oportunity but it took quite a bit of coaxing. NO REGRETS!
– cool story –
I was up at TJ's (the pc shop) and a customer came in on the very edge of getting agrivated becuase his 'problem' still exists even though it was claimed to be 'fixed'. Without hesitation I asked em how far out he lives and quickly jumped on the bike to follow em to his house not more than a few miles away. I'm pretty good with people so I slowly explained what was wrong and that it was a 'setting' not a 'bug'.. Also spent a few minutes on the phone with his service provider fixing some things. We started chatting about his printer and I just suggested a 100% printer upgrade since he needed new toner. I may be lame but buying toners is retarded, just get another crappy printer imho. I told em he can get ahold of me at the shop after 4.30 and took off…
Today almost on-the-dot at 4.30 he strolls into the shop with his new printer asking if he's got everything he needs to use it. He was very happy this time through. We sold him a usb->device cable and sent him on his way with instructions to install.
What makes this especialy awsome is that when he came back today he said he mentioned how much he realy enjoyed my swiftness to help him so he spread the word and the harly club he's apart of wants me to build them a site for the missouri chapter they ride in, PLUS I just met a key player to find more people to ride with AND I was invited to a motorcycle show (me on my rocket and them on their harleys with a mix of each) on sunday!!!!!
It's crazy watching how things pan out based on how you treat a situation. A customer on the verge of agitation just became a 100% dedicated client doing his best to spread the word. I love it. And now I have new friends.. lifes grand.
