Saying goodbye to PHPX

If you havn't noticed by the tags at the footer of every page I've been using the phpx.org content management system for my blog. It's worked pretty well for the last few months I've been using it except for a few big quirks. I've had issues upgrading to the latest PHPX. Had to bust a few simple hacks to get it to update the last few times. Now I'm having issues with the image gallery. Not cool.

As with everything that is replaced, you always hope it gets replaced with something better. This time around I'm not goign to use an open source project to base my blog on. I can't realy say it's going to be better in a navigational, useful, application sense. I can however say it'll look better. lol. I have my own ego blasting graphics now thanks to zippy =).

I started work on version 2 this morning and hopefully will be using it relatively soon. To Andy who pointed out the new image gallery flaws, I will be doing my best at getting up a new image gallery asap. Using image functions and the like has always disagreed with me so it should be interesting to see what comes about if it's not the lamest thing on planet earth. lol.

BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!
