If you use Bit Torrent

July 28th, 2005 by Josh Houghtelin

If your into the whole Bit Torrent file stealing thing Zippy ran across a little site based in sweden serving Torrents & publicly mocking the companies who 'demand' they remove their software from the listing. It says the site was started by a Swedish anti-copyright group & somehow since the files are torrents they can't be held responsible for what they are providing. I guess I can understand that in a sense. I don't believe google can be held responsible for offering links to copyrighted software via warez sites and The Pirate Bay just offers links.. right.?

I havn't researched Bit Torrent much so that's what I'll blame for my lack of understanding how Torrent software slides under the Grokster ruling.

This just in. The maniacle genius behind rifrif informed me that torrents.to is also worth visiting if your part of the torrent crowd. I checked it out and it looks like a Torrent mini-meca. hehe. It lets you search a handful of torrent hosts while pushing google-like simplicity.

Now if I could only think of something I wanted to steal… lol
