Halloween was a hit!
I don't know how you guys celebrate but this is how it went for us.
#1 - SHITLOADS of candy. We shelled out well over 25 store-bought bags of candy. Probably closer to 35. (yes, that is excessive)
#2 - Couple cases of beer for the big boys (us, lol. we didn't hand out beer)
#3 - Round up the friends & some goofy chairs.
#4 - A lot of candles
We lined our sidewalk with the old fashioned candle in paper sack trick which always gets the parents “ooohs and ahhhs”. We also threw a candle in every one of the 10 pumpkins we had carved the week previous. We strung some orange christmas-style lights around the door and up the “runway” hehe. Then we brought our laptops outside and basked in great conversation, got drunk, listened to music, and said “AWWWWWWW” about 100 times as the cute little kids over-took our willpower causing us to throw handfuls of candy into their little sacks. lol.
