Putty the free Telnet/SSH client

No toolbox is complete without Putty. I couldn’t count how many times a day I use this little tidbit of software. I’ve always got a couple SSH’ed into a screen session for my IRC. Got some watching my logs “tail -f” style. Maybe I just have too many lingering *nix servers out there but for me putty is either the first or second thing I load onto a fresh system.

The Putty homepage or you can just download it here.

I’ve used Putty for years, but I never noticed Plink (command line version) until you linked their site and I randomly clicked it… Perfect hack to secure VNC with my “Cascade VNC” thingy. yay.
