I flew solo today for a little under an hour. My first landing came in nice but when I got down to the runway a gust of wind cought me and gave me all sorts of hell. Paul was watching from the ground and said he thought I was for sure going to bite it. I did end up recovering and landing fine though. All the rest of the landings were top notch. I flew some traffic patterns without any problem and practiced a few stalls. I tell you what, stalling a plane alone is interesting. Comming down for a landing and being blown off the runway is even more interesting.
Flying solo brings up serious anticipation for getting my liscence though. These next few months I”m going to spend driving all over Iowa and Missouri. If I could fly it’d be 100% more efficient. I absolutely can’t wait.
Hi Josh, thought I would stop by. I saw your comment about what u did for Valentines for your sweety on Toasted Crumpet’s blog..I then read her blog to get the story. Great idea!! She is a happy camper for sure.
I just read this post about flying. That is one of my fianceé’s dreams one day, to take flying lessons. We can’t really afford for him to do that now but I really hope someday he can realize his dream.
I will be sure to return. Have a great day.
I hope your Fiancé gets to capture his dream of flying. Being able to fly is not something I would ever pass if given the oportunity. Hopefully an oportunity arises for him.
As for Zippy. I do my best for her =)
