LONDON (Reuters) report: Read about it here
The researchers studied the effects of alcohol on more than 50,000 men and women over more than five years. Men in the study who drank one day a week had a 7 percent reduced risk of heart disease compared to non-drinkers, but daily moderate drinkers were 41 percent less likely to suffer from heart disease.
I really don’t need any excuse to drink but since they are offering me one I think I may just have to take it. I’m not 100% entirely sure it’s a good thing but after I get off work I’ve got a beer in hand. I’m only drinking to ward off heart disease, I swear!
Can’t say I am a huge beer drinker, I bought a 12-pack about a month ago and believe there are at least 9 still sitting in the box. The fact they have an expiry date tickles me immensely! Now wine on the other hand…hand me a nice Shiraz or a Gewurztraminer and we’re talking!
I like a good glass of wine once in a while. Especialy with a good meal. Piesporter is one of my favorites.

It’s nice to know that coming home after a hard days work, drinking a beer does something good for you.
