The Elks Lodge collapsed on the square here in Clinton Missouri.
The Elks Lodge on the square here in Clinton Missouri caved in a few hours ago. Hundreds of people were gathered up there when Zippy & I went to take a quick look. The best we could do was to just stay out of the way. I hope they get everyone out. I don’t personaly know anyone that was at the Elks Lodge tonight but I’m sure I will hear about it tommarow. I hope the only thing permanently damaged was the building.

CBC had something to say about it. Aparently one man did die. Tony Comer, the leader of the Elks Lodge.

That is f#cking insane! Can you imagine you are just sitting there eating and the whole floor crashes out from underneath you?
I work in a building the same age as the one that came down and we do a lot more bangin around then just eating. I definately don’t like the chill it sends down my spine. All the buildings on the square need to be evaluated.
