Powell Gardens
We visited the Powell Gardens today. “Kansas City’s Botanical Garden”. After roaming around there all day I have to say there is something wrong with someone if they don’t like flowers and butterflies. There were two outside “Butterfly Breezeways” which were pretty much big mesh tents with a bunch of flowers and butterflies in them. They had one huge indoor butterfly conservatory. The whole place smelled and looked so good I would have enjoyed just standing there and breathing. Heh. I definitely saw my fare share of flowers and butterflies. Check out some of the pictures we (Zippy) took.
Here is the Flickr Photoset I saved..
The ponds they had there were crazy nice.

And of course there were thousands of butterflies.

I even got all butterflied up. = )
