Trix & Nitro welcome me home.
I’m out of the Hospital. Apparently I have ulcers that got pissed and caused some vicious immediate blood loss. I have 1 month to eat healthy, exercise, and quit doing all that bad stuff to get rid of them and then I go back for more testing. If they are still there when I go back (October 11th) my poor lower intestine meets the sharp side of my doctor’s Ginsu knife set. I forgot to ask if it was a laparoscopic procedure or not. Either way it doesn’t sound fun.
The new plan:
No smoking
No drinking
Take a bunch of crazy herbal/vitamin supplements
Eat a good diet.
…and hope for the best.
And no I wasn’t prescribed antibiotics.
After I got home and let the ferrets out they kindly helped me unpack.

I tried to keep nitro still. It didn’t work.
The ferrets look too cool. I didn’t know you had them. I’m glad to hear that you’re doing better. I hope that the “quitting smoking” part sticks. It’s liberating. On the return visit ( October 11th ) are you coming to Springfield, or going to your doctor up there?
I’m getting sliced up in Springfield if I have to. It seems to be the nicest facility around here short of what Kansas City might have to offer. I’m thinking that if I’m maintaining this crazy diet I got all lined up and I stick with this not smoking thing (day 7 so far) I’ll push that return date back a month or two. Actualy give myself a chance to get better.
