I’m out supporting the election today ensuring the vote tabulation equipment is working without flaw. Whether your County uses Diebold, ES&S, (Those two combined tabulate 80% of the votes in the US) or some off brand, you need to get out and vote today. There is a lot of new HAVA compliant voting equipment out there to check out, all you have to do is ask to use the ‘new’ equipment. If your county uses Diebold ask to use the Touch Screen. If your county uses ES&S ask to use the automark or touch screen.

Note to all my people: Most all of Minnesota is tabulated by ES&S hardware except the Cities. If you guys are awsome you will take a picture and/or comment/blog about your experience at the vote center! Please and Thank You!

I voted, wooohoooo..
But I did it on a paper ballot. They had an automark but a lady was on it and I did not feel like waiting.. and I did not read this whole post before I went to the poll so I just took 1 picture out front with my ‘I voted’ sticker.

Dawn & I just got back from voting about an hour ago. and it was a scanner machine; fill-in the blanks. when I walked up to the machine I was voter #1025 and the person ahead of me got his ticket rejected.
Then when Dawn came up the person in front of her got thier ticket crunched up inside.
So, she had to put it in a box on the machine until they can fix it.
