Bubba was lonely so I adopted him. Bubba, Trix & Nitro get along extremely well. It’s awsome. I think Bubba is happier already!

Bubba is a bit older. I believe he is about 5 whereas Trix and Nitro are about a year old. All Males. Having a third ferrett is crazy. I can’t believe they immediately got along. I thought there would be more of a violent introduction period. It’s really cool watching them play. Since I brought Bubba home both Trix & Nitro now make those crazy cool chirping noises when they play. They rarely ever used to do that. Bubba however seemed verry happy and vocal from the moment i brought em home. I love my wuzzles.

I love these ferrets. I think about them every day..

Wish I could kidnap Nitro so he could be here to make me happy.

I love ferrets. The first one I had made the chirping noises all the time when she was happy. I had her until she was 8. My second almost never did. He was a male but he got cushing’s (sp?) disease and died when he was around four or five. My third was again a female and she made the chirping noises but not nearly as much as my first one did. I only had her for a year, then I joined the Marines and gave her to my aunt who had her for five or six years and then she gave her to a family friend who was lonely. She can’t possibly still be alive because she would be ancient but I’m not sure how old she did get to be because I haven’t been back to MN or ND to see family in a really long time.

Ferrets are the most awsome pets. The only thing I find at all not appealing about them is the relative difficulty involved in getting them completely litterbox trained. It’s about impossible if you let them run around for 4+ hours a day but I keep up with it. Having three ferrets is a trip. It’s really cool how they get a long with almost any pet that my friends bring over. Mosty dogs though. It’s fun letting them roam around in the afternoons when everyone is partying at my house. They end up stealing everyones rubbery, leathery, smelly stuff. Hehe.

I couldn’t conceive only having one ferret at a time. No less than two for me. I don’t believe I will ever own just one ferret ever again. They are completely different animals when they come in pairs or more. They seem a LOT happier and have quite a bit moe energy. It’s also crazy fun watching two ferrets play. When I brought Bubba home they started off playing kindof violently. It’s like the only difference between playing and fighting is the pitch of the squeek and the existance of blood. haha.
