I would love the source code for the smoking ticker! I will probably tweak it a bit if that is OK? Perhaps change the pic.

Could you forward the source code to me please? I don’t want to quit smoking…I just want to keep track how long I’ve been shackled with dental braces starting Thurs. (oh the joy)

I have been playing around with your previous script, and I have something close to what I want, but I got a little stuck. (I never touched PHP until now…it’s been fun, I suppose.)

Copy & Paste the HTML code into your myspace profile or as a comment to someones myspace profile and it will work.

By the way, is there a min. version of php or mysql required? I am strugling with the tickerfactory rip off. It works great on Xampp, localhost. But after uploading to my server, i get Internal Error. DB fields are configured ok, else i would get “not able too connect”.

Suggestions?

There are a few bugs in the script. I will recode it the first oportunity I get and email the update to everyone who has had problems with the current version.

I want a ticker just to see the number of cigarettes I have not smoked since I quit. On Fridays @ SmokeAwaySupport.com we have a bon fire and throw all unsmoked cigarettes in the fire.

Problem: - I stopped smoking 04/04/04 and your script will not give me an accurate account because it will not go back to my quit date.

Is there anything you can do to help?

The code really doesn’t work in myspace profiles. I know a little about html and I definitely know how to post codes, this one does NOT work.

I would like to have the quit meter to put on my cafemom and myspace pages. I quit in 2005 tho and the one on your page only goes back to 2007. Can I get it to go back to when I quit?

Is there a way to get an edited version of the quit smoking ticker that doesn’t say “I” quit smoking….
I’d like it so say “If you quit smoking on Keaton’s birthday, you’d be smoke free for XXX and have saved this much $$” I want to put it on my site for my son to help my father in law and brothers stop smoking because they need to be in my son’s life for a long time.
