I went out to the property last night and noticed the big pole that goes up from the meter box to the top of the electric pole had been mounted. In a fit of excitement I ran into the house and started turning breakers on. After a few minutes of messing with it I started to get bummed because nothing was ‘coming on’. I didn’t realize you had to turn breakers on at the box outside first. ^_^ I couldn’t find the memory stick for my camera so I didn’t get a picture of our meter box reading all zeros but the sight of it was pretty cool. Now the little disc is spinning very slow and WE HAVE POWER! Now we are just a phone call away from having the water pump installed on the pipes in between the water systern and the house to finalize the last of the utilities. Our home is nearly 100% complete.
