A lot of things have been going on lately. I spent last weekend with Zippy & her family in Minnesota paying our respects to Dennis. Zippy is still up there taking care of things. With all the things going on around us I have to say it is really nice being able to go home.
Every day when I go home I see a couple deer walk off into the woods, I see a couple rabbits hop through the yard, I see a turtle slowly making his way to wherever he is going, and I always see at least a hand full of turkey walking around. A couple times a week there is even a lone coyote making his way to a new destination. It’s really nice living in the woods with all the wild life. Pretty soon Zippy will add a couple horses to the scenery. I have yet to see the bobcat my neighbors say currently roams around the area nor the bear an old man said he saw when he was in the area hunting some 30 years ago. I do however fall asleep every night to a symphony preformed by 1,000 frogs, crickets & birds. An O-Natural ’sounds of nature’ track without the seagulls. There isn’t a price you can put on peaceful solitude. It’s definitely easy to go without internet at home being surrounded by wilderness from which I’m to mold my front yard. The only concern being the water moccasin that struck at me when I got in his way (but he didn’t get me and I promptly relocated him). The only annoyance being the itchy bug bites. It’s awesome. An irreplaceable peace of mind.
No cars.
No people.
No loud noises.
Just me and my dog outside working while we wait for Zippy to come home.
germany is so beautiful here even in the middle of the city its completely loaded with trees and stuff. one city had vines growing on the walls and accross the street of the resturaunts. but i have not seen a single non-domestic animal here yet after 2 weeks. your right though you cant price the paecfullness of it all. ( ok mabye like 20 bucks so i can at least have a song bird outside my window.)
