The Lawn Eater

This is our….
lawn mower, brush hog, mulcher, trailer mover, utility vehicle, forest conquering trail blazer, and all around beast of a toy.
The Lawn Eater

Rightfully named “The Lawn Eater” if it protrudes from the ground, this thing can turn it back into dirt. It’s an old Craftsman lawnmower that’s already weathered the storm. It cuts 44″ wide, has 5 speeds of fast and is powered by an 18hp V-twin engine. It’s only weakness seems to be the fact that the tires still require air to hold their shape. I’ve got slime in them as a temporary fix (seeing as how I popped all the tires almost instantly on locus tree thorns) but when I fill the tires with foam locust trees won’t even stop this thing.

I also got a utility trailer for it so I can haul off timber and Zippy can move hay bales around. Having an old mower I can crash through the woods on is really handy. And at $200 I can’t complain one bit.

  1. Have you seen Jesko’s mower? It looks exactly like a grasshopper.
