I bought a Stevens Model 62 .22 Caliber Rifle and Shawn gave me a scope so we went out today and put it all together. Shawn sighted it in at about 30 yards.
Bring on the vermin.

It only took a few adjustments before we were hitting everything on the nose at 30 yards. I may adjust it to 50 yards as that’s most likely the range I will be shooting at home.

Back at work after it was all put together.

And of course 600+ rounds to keep me busy. I will probably get a few more cases of bullets and a couple more mags just for kicks.
I don’t know if loading clips at work is going to give your boss and co-workers a warm fuzzy feeling… I can see it now:
“Hey Josh, whacha doin’… uh, what’s with the bullets and rifle… at your desk…”
“Oh, I just have this whole bucket of bullets here to shoot gophers out at the house…”
“Geez! Look at the time, … uh, I think I’m feeling a little feverish and should take the day, er, next FEW days off work. Let me know when all the gophers are dead! BYE!”

Shawn is a walking encyclopedia of guns & darn near everyone at work hunts or partakes in hunting somehow so nobody really thinks twice about seeing rifles and whatnot at work.
We definitely work in a pretty lax atmosphere.
