Missouri hills are finally opening!

Snow Creek in Missouri is opening December 13th and I’ll be there from open to close. Since it’s in Missouri and they are used to having to make all their own snow I’m sure they will have all the runs open. It looks like they are well on their way. If anyone wants to go with, let me know. We already have scheduled two vehicles. We’ll be leaving Clinton at 2:pm on Saturday Dec. 13th. The more the merrier!

HEY HOME DOG! I JUST WANTED TO GIVE A BIG THANKS! FOR HELPING MY POPPY OUT WITH WOOD. VERY COOL! OLD AGE HAS BEEN A REAL BITCH TO THE OLD FART, SO GETTING OUT AND ABOUT ISN’T AS EASY AS IT USE TO BE, SO THANK YOU! AND FEEL FREE TO STOP BY ANYTIME. I’M USUALLY AT WORK, BUT DARRELL IS ALWAYS THERE. IF YOU GET BORED AND YOU’RE IN TOWN JUST GIVE US A CALL OR STOP BY! WHATEVER. BUT YEAH. IT WAS REALLY NICE TO SEE YOU AND WILL. It’s cool. I’ve been choppin down, cutting and splitting a lot of wood on the weekends for next years supply and figured he’d be able to use at least a truck load. I didn’t know if he had actually got out and acquired any or not so I just stopped by randomly and asked him where to pile the wood. lol. He told me they’ve got em back on a thick Chemo regime. That sucks. =( I told em to take it easy and let me know if he needs any more heat.
I stay realy busy most of the time but I will be sure to stop in and visit you guys again randomly. Maybe whilst Will and I are out being good Samaritans again. ^_^

mm. My poppy has had a rough couple years. It started with lymph node cancer. The chemo he had to take for that was given through a cath near his heart, so it went directly into his veins. The doc just failed to poppy that this “could” ruin his veins and make his heart weak. So after all the chemo he was cleared and things went okay for a bit. Like less than a year later his heart rate and b/p went out of whack. His heart rate when I took him to St. Lukes Hospital (a year ago) was 167. The admissions ppl couldn’t believe he was just walking around and talking to people. They were really surprised when poppy told them before we got there we had stopped at a Casey’s for some grub and bathroom breaks. Heh. But yeah. They ran some tests and found out the walls of his heart had been broken down from all the chemo and his heart couldn’t pump all the blood going in and out. So he went on a 101 heart pills and had 4 or 5 different surgeries. His heart now works at 35%. Not good but it works. Anywho. With all the surgeries he had to have for his heart the cancer came back. So he’s currently taking the last chemo treatment for lymph node cancer that he can take. Shitty, but hopefully all goes well. It’s just been one thing after another. Seems like everything hit at once. So far so good. He’s a tough old man! Gotta love that about him. Hmmm .. need figure out some way to chat. This is way too long to leave as a ‘message’. *thinks* =)

That’s what email is for Chas! ^_^ And sms, and im, and of course the good ol’ fashion face to face. =) I was just about to txt ya and see if you’d wanna come skiing with us Saturday but that number you left is a land line! Anywho, hit me up and come skiing! A couple people that were going to go with us had to cancel so we have extra room in the trucks.
I had no idea he was working on 35%. That’s insane. He definitely doesn’t act like it. He’s still in the funny good mood he’s always been in. Lounging around the house just “croakin’”. ^_^ You got my number I hope (it never changes 525.1085) so give me a call/txt if there’s anything I could help em with.

I tried to call ya around 8:30-8:45 for that pw. I’ll call you before I go to work tomorrow. Or if you want you can call me. Home: 647-3007. Work: 647-2182. However it goes! =) Umm .. about skiing, I would LOVE to go but I have to work both Saturday and Sunday. My next day off is Monday. Then I work Tues. – Fri. and have THAT (12-20/12-21) weekend off. Maybe if it would snow here and get really flippin cold I could try out some skating at Farrington Park. Lol. =) I don’t really get much time off, and my hours are 3:30-12:00. Maybe the weekend of the 20th-21st we could get together and hang out? I dunno.
Anywho. I’ll get a hold of you sometime tomorrow about that pw and get all that working. Until then … *waves* +)
